Can I Alter the Results from the RNG?

31 August 2009

By John Robison

Is there anything a player can do to vary his/her predetermined "random number generator" result, which in most cases is a loss of the bet?

Robert

Not only is there nothing you can do, legally, to alter the results from the RNG, there's also nothing the casino can do, legally, to alter those results. Slot requlations in the United States require that the result determined by the RNG be displayed to the player and not be subject to any sort of secondary decision.

Best of luck in and out of the casinos,
John
