How Do You Calculate Slot Club Cashback Percentage?

Can you tell me what I have to divide to figure the percentage payback of a slot club? Let's say, for example, you get 2 points for each dollar you put in the machine, and you need 1000 points to receive $1.00 back. How do you determine that equation?

Thanks for the kind words about my columns.

In your example you said that you need 1000 points to get $1 back. How much action do you have to give to earn 1000 points? If you get 2 points for each dollar played, you need to give $500 in action. $1/$500 = 0.2%.

The equation for cash back percentage is: Cash Back / (Points * DollarsPerPoint) * 100. Plugging in the numbers from your example: $1 / (1000 * 0.5) * 100 = 0.2%.
