Keno questions

31 December 2007

By John Robison

I am really hooked on the Four Keno Game (IGT). Can you tell me which strip hotels might carry this game? Or, are there any casinos close by that we can walk to that have this game? I look forward to hearing from you.

Additionally, and this may be a dumb question, but are some casinos tighter than others with respect to video keno?

Not many slot players play Keno, but most of those who do are devoted to the game. I don't know which strip casinos have the game. You can always try calling the casinos and asking them.

Your last question is not a dumb question. Just like not all video poker machines have the same paytable, not all keno machines have the same paytable. I suggest you get a book that lists the different Keno paytables and which bets have the lowest house edges.

Best of luck in and out of the casinos,
John

I ran across a web site that provides education and ways to win at keno, called Keno School. Is this a reputable site, and are there ways like they suggest to improve your odds at winning dramatically? The price is about $35 to join. I am just wondering if this might be a scam? You here so much about scammers on the web making unrealistic promises.

Thank you.

I don't know how any betting system can beat a random game and the results on a keno machine are random.

The only useful information I think this site could offer are: which bets on each keno paytable have the lowest house edges and which casinos have machines with those paytables. A good keno book can give you the first item for much less than $35, but you'll have to visit (or call) the casinos to find out the second.

Best of luck in and out of the casinos,
John
