The Slot Expert's Guide to Winning at Slots and Video Poker1 June 2000
You can hear me give my slot and video poker tips live on The Good Times Show, hosted by Rudi Schiffer with Frank Scoblete, which is broadcast live from Memphis on WHBQ over the air on 560AM and over the Internet on Yahoo! Broadcast on Saturday morning from 8-10 CT.
I see this all the time. People struggling to carry a heavy bucket of coins out of the casino. I see them walking up and down the boardwalk in Atlantic City, along the strip in Las Vegas, and even going from one casino to another in Tunica.
Carrying a bucket of coins out of the casino is an accident or a theft waiting to happen. It's too easy to trip or lose your grip on the bucket, and then the coins will go flying. It's also too tempting for the few unsavory characters who hang around casinos to relieve you of your burden.
This week's tip is to always cash in your coins when you leave the casino. It's much easier to carry a few bills in your wallet than a bucket of coins.
I also cash in my coins before going to the restaurant or the restroom. It seems like everyday I here from someone who accidentally left their coin bucket behind. Finally, I even cash in my coins before going back to my room for the night. I learned to do that the first time I left my coin bucket in my room and had to go back to get it.
